MechanicalDesign Engineer

Under the supervision of the Mechanical teamleader and/or Engineering Project Manager the Mechanical/ Designengineer develops design of water or wastewater treatment plants inaccordance with project specifications applicable codes andstandards and company procedures.

His/her mainresponsibilities/tasks are as follows:

• Feed & detail engineering deliverable includingP&IDs valve list line list PMS Material Selectiondiagram.
• Participate and assist in technicalreviews meeting such as Design Review HAZID HAZOP SIL ATEXHazardous area classification
• DevelopSpecification & Vendor Offer review for Rotary &static equipment Valve specialty items control valve PSV orificeplate strainer chemical dosing system (as per Oil & gasapplicable codes & standards)
• Calculate Hydraulic profile Pump Head Pipe thickness Line size asper relevant codes & standards
• Assistdraftsmen to feed/review Plot Plan/GAdrawing/isometric/BOQ
• Analysis of the projectspecifications and codes requirements
• Preparation of the mechanical and piping design
• Definition of the mechanical and piping specificationsto be used for drafting
• Supervise and reviewdraftsmen work
• Review piping stress analysesand structural design calculations
• Monitorthe compliance of the design with specifications and applicablecodes
• Communicate and interface with otherengineering disciplines involved in the project

• Mechanical or Process engineerdegree
• Minimum 8 year experience in similarposition; experience in O&G projects is a plus
• Knowledge of Oil&Gas codes and standard or otherhigh end specifications (Power)
• Able todesign independently with minor instructions from head ofdepartment
• Navis work review
