The Role - Associate Electrical Engineer As the Electrical Technical Lead / Associate Electrical engineer , you will co‑lead and develop the MEP engineering team, overseeing the successful delivery of landmark building and infrastructure projects across Dubai and the wider region. You’ll be responsible for driving design quality, technical coordination, and delivery excellence across a variety of sectors from high‑rise developments and hospitality, to mixed‑use, residential, workplace and infrastructure schemes. This role requires a balance of strong technical capability, leadership, and commercial acumen ideal for someone who is ready to shape both projects and people. Key Responsibilities – Associate Electrical Engineer Lead electrical engineering and design delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects. Oversee and approve all design deliverables, ensuring compliance with DEWA, DDA, Civil Defence and international codes (IEC, BS, IEEE, NFPA). Guide the integration of electrical, ELV, ICT and life‑safety systems with other disciplines to ensure coordinated, buildable and efficient designs. Perform technical audits, value engineering reviews and QA checks to maintain design integrity. Represent the consultancy in design and progress meetings with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders. Provide mentorship, technical guidance and leadership to the growing MEP design team. Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all projects. REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS 10–12 years’ experience in electrical engineering and project delivery. Minimum 8 years in a senior leadership or associate‑level role within a consultancy environment. Proven background leading large‑scale, mixed‑use, commercial, and infrastructure projects from concept to completion. Deep understanding of authority compliance, multidisciplinary coordination, and site delivery. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Master’s preferred). Chartered Engineer (CEng, PE or equivalent) highly desirable.
