We are looking for a Junior Safety Trainer who will be responsible for delivering comprehensive safety training programs and assisting in the development of course materials required for customized trainings. The primary focus of this role is on educating training attendees about best practices, regulations, and procedures related to safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training sessions to the company’s clients, which may be in-person, online, or a combination of both.
  • Ensure that the training content is presented clearly and engagingly, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Conduct and assist in demonstrations and practical exercises that allow participants to apply safety concepts.
  • Address participant questions, provide clarifications, and ensure a thorough understanding of safety concepts and practices.
  • Conduct training sessions in a clear, organized, and professional manner, using a variety of instructional techniques to ensure attendees' understanding.
  • Adjust training content and delivery style based on participants' background, experience, and learning pace.
  • Assist senior trainers or training managers in developing training materials, presentations, and resources that cover various safety topics.
  • Tailor training materials and content to align with the client's specific requirements and industry regulations.
  • Stay updated on safety regulations, industry trends, and effective training methodologies to enhance training delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training content based on participant feedback, industry developments, and training effectiveness.
  • Follow company training protocols/SOP.
  • Organize and set up training venues, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth training delivery.
  • Coordinate with the training coordinator for the timely delivery of training programs.
  • Follow up on training session dates and venues.
  • Assist the training coordinator in coordinating with the site and location.
  • Ensure all training courses delivered align with the standards set by the company.
  • Arrive early and set up the training area to high standards.
  • Ensure all delegates' paperwork is filled and sent to the training coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Quickly and efficiently pass any sales inquiries to the sales representative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Train the Trainer Certificate will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in delivering training, either in-house or through a third party.
  • Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety laws.
  • Strong passion for safety education and training.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently, eager to learn, and have an adaptive and flexible attitude.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Windows Operating System.
  • Language proficiency in English and Hindi; other languages will be an added advantage.
  • A UAE Driving License will be an added advantage.
