Key Duties AndResponsibilities

  • Negotiating with suppliers onpricing, terms, and conditions ofsale.
  • Reviewing bids received from suppliersfor potential purchase orders based on price, quality, deliveryterms, and other factors.
  • Managing inventorylevels of supplies and materials to ensure adequate supply whileminimizing costs.
  • Monitoring contractcompliance and making sure that suppliers adhere to contractualobligations such as maintaining insurance coverage or providingtimely delivery of products orservices.
  • Creating purchase orders and otherdocumentation necessary to initiate a purchasetransaction.
  • Conducting market research toidentify potential suppliers and evaluate their suitability forspecific products or services.
  • Identifyingopportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcingtechniques such as offshoreprocurement.
