Responsibilities

Woodis currently looking for Electrical Advisor to support our team inIraq/Basra .

  • Responsiblefor developing and monitor program to improve existing electricalequipment reliability at WQ1 field
  • Identifyelectrical potential issues and provide engineeringsolutions
  • Identify any obsolete electricalequipment and plan forward for upgrade
  • Identifyarea under electrical required improvement to bring more reliablesystem
  • Deliver engineering solution related toelectrical for day today oil and gasoperation
  • Prepare details engineering(engineering work pack) and MoC for not like tolike
  • modification or replacement to be executedby others department
  • Perform root cause& failure analysis (RCFA) for any trip that happen in oiland gas plant
  • Maintain electricalnon-conformance tracking list
  • Maintain andfollow up on RCFA action items related toelectrical
  • Support electrical maintenance fortroubleshooting activity or any engineering solution ifneeded.
  • Interface with project team to provideinput / lesson learn related to electrical during new projectdevelopment
  • Interface with operation readinessfor new project will come to operation,ensure
  • new project has been deliver as perstandard, electrical equipment register, and PM program has beenupdated
  • Responsible for providing technicalsupport in procurement ofelectrical
  • equipment/materials whenrequired
  • Responsible for coordination andcommunication with other disciplines, as an electrical focalpoint
  • Support ST Manager and Integrity,Reliability & Measurement Section Head in any specialassignment

Qualifications

  • Must have a good understanding andknowledge of upstream oil & gasonshore
  • processing andfacilities
  • Must have extensive knowledge ofElectrical equipment and package requiredfor
  • Onshore oil & gasplant/refinery/petrochemical plant
  • Conversantwith ASME/ANSI, API, ATEX, ISO, IEC, NEMA, NEC, NFPA andother
  • international codes and standardsapplicable for Electrical design
  • Proficient indesign, selection and sizing of HV/MV/LV ElectricalEquipment/
  • Component (Transformer, Switchgear,Protection Relay, Cable, ATS, etc), AC/DC
  • UPS,VFD, Motor Starter, Motor, Control Panel, Gas Turbine GeneratorControl, Power Generation & Distribution, PLC,etc
  • Good understanding and hands-on on relaycoordinating setting analysis andrecommendation.
  • Knowledge in ETAPSoftware
  • Knowledge in API hazardous areaclassification and equipment selection ismust.
  • Good command of written and spokenEnglish
  • Excellent in communication andpresentation skills, coordination andorganizing
  • skills with ability to work withminimal supervision, strong focusing on goaland
  • liaise effectively and efficiently withother team members within /outside
  • Department
  • Demonstratehigh level of interpersonal skills andintegrity
  • Stakeholder Management skills -Proven ability to build strongworking
  • relationship with internal and externalparties
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience inonshore upstream oil & gas plantand/or
  • Petrochemical and/or Refinery industryas Senior Electrical Engineer (preferably
  • inmiddle east region)
  • Strong experiences in surface technicalengineering and some maintenance.
  • Have knowledge and understanding on oil andgas upstream processand
  • facilities.
