Senior Application Security EngineerOur client is looking for a highly skilled Application Security Specialist to join their team. If you have expertise in SAST, DAST, DevSecOps, and secure coding, this is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge security initiatives
- Role: Application Security Specialist (Contractor)
- Location: On-site
- Experience: 10-12 years
- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Science, or related field
- Certifications (Mandatory): OSCP and/or OSWA (OSWE preferred) | Highly desirable: CISSP
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Static & Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST & DAST) using tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify, Snyk, and BurpSuite Pro
- Implement Software Composition Analysis (SCA) for third-party dependencies
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines & DevSecOps workflows
- Embed shift-left security and enforce best practices in secure coding
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams
- Secure applications written in Python and Node.js
- Assist in threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews
