You will contribute to the solutiondefinition and development in close collaboration with TopSky FlowManagers Solution Owner the Solution Architect as well as the ProxyPO of the UAE squad in orderto:

  • Transform the business needs toTechnical Req and make estimations and give inputs for planningtogether with the team members
  • Undertake thedesign and development of applications by collaborating with othersoftware solutions engineer to share knowledge and improve overallproduct/solution

TheSenior Software Engineering/Tech Lead works with a squad adevelopment team that builds and runs the product/components usingSCRUM methodology.

You will be a member of anAgile Team and will

  • Make sure that theStories comply with the Definition ofDone.
  • Work within in a Scrum team with othersoftware developers in Agile mode
  • Contribute tothe requirement definition to the software design and you will beinvolved with the architectural aspects of the softwareprojects
  • Integrate software components into afully functional software system
  • Writewelldesigned documented and testablecode
  • Develop test and execute full softwaredevelopment life cycle
  • Design implement andtest features with scalability performance deployment/operation andenduser experience inmind

KeyAreas ofResponsibility

  • Managescope and schedule to provide high quality deliverables perinternal and external customercommitments/requirements.
  • Ensure that theproject deliverables meet the customers requirements contractspecification and the necessary clearances (e.g. security safetyexport control).
  • Hold the engineering teamresponsible for meeting the technical expectations listedabove.
  • Act as the primary technical contact forcustomer on all technical issues.
  • Produceproject planning requirements and testing documents while playingan active part in the daytoday design and developmentdecisionmaking process.
  • Communicate effectivelyprofessionally and in a timely manner with internal personnelexternal customers consultants andsubcontractors.

Experience:

  • Masters degreefrom an Engineering school and
    • Have somesignificant experiences (professional/internships academic orpersonal projects such a GIT Hub Meet Upsetc.)
    • 6 years of progressively responsibleengineering experience including ProjectEngineering
    • 4 years of Experience with Dockerand Kubernetes technologies
    • 3 Experience of Webprotocols and technologies RESTful Webservices
  • GoodATM (Air Traffic Management) background withexperience in
    • Air Traffic Managementsystems
    • Flight data management andprocessing
  • Strongexperience of managing a SW developmentitems
    • Understanding of SAASmodel
    • Understanding of cloudnative architecture and DevOpsimplications (deployment without breaking changes. runcyber security costs etc)
    • You can demonstrateknowledge in Full Stack or pure back/pure front programminglanguages and frameworks (Java/Spring Boot andReact/Typescript)
    • You are familiarwith compilation/code building/continuousintegration
    • You have knowledge of IS ComputingPlatforms Operating Systems andHypervisors

  • Communication and open mindset skills to understandbusiness and solution needs collaborate with Dev team and conductproduct demos in front of stakeholders Decision makingability in a time constrained environment to arbitratebetween different options at the pace of the confidentialframework
  • Strong commitment onoutcomes to maximise the value for business andsolutions
