Manufacturing Engineer:

The Manufacturing Engineer role inFlow controls will be supporting for development and manufacturingof Fisher Control Valves. This role will help the organization toachieve Operational Excellence Engineering Excellence andDigitalization and set high standards for HSE &Sustainability. This individual will work closely with otherfunctional groups and worldarea manufacturing sites with a focus ondriving solutions to best serve our internal and externalcustomers.

In This Role YourResponsibilities Will Be:

  • Handle the New ItemActivation Process Data Maintenance and ECRN (Engineering ChangeRequest Notification) process in Oracle.
  • Establish Sales BOM Manufacturing BOM Routingsand Nonstandard work orders in Oracle.
  • Reviewand act on the Engineering requests raised by Purchase PlanningProduction Quality and Stores team.
  • Supportthe Plant Quality by participating in MRB RFT meetings and provideEngineering solutions.
  • Apply Lean 5S principleto all manufacturing systems processes and technologies.
  • Identify cost reductions and drive continuousimprovements by applying lean principles.
  • Drive Continuous and safety improvementprograms in the Shop Floor
  • Handle all therequests for tools and equipments by identifying the suppliers andraising Purchase Requisition in system.
  • Build2D drawings for the fabrication of tools and fixtures. Construct 3Dmodel and simulation for large fixtures.
  • Implement the preventive maintenance programfor all machinery in the shop floor.
  • Collaborate with the Production team incrafting SOPs Work Instructions Maintenance checklist RiskAssessment for all shop floor activities.
  • Define manufacturing concepts by knowing thelatest on industry trends and technology advancements
  • Implement manufacturing practices that arebalanced digitalized and automated by using Industry 4.0 concepts.
  • Ensure the manufacturing assets and processesmeet the ESH requirements and regulatory requirements set byEmerson OSHA ISO and local laws.
  • Implement newprocess and organisational change in shop floor through the MOC(Management of Change) process.
  • Identify theCAPEX Project requirements on yearly basis raise AppropriationRequests (AR) in system and drive the project implementation untilhandover.
  • Support the Operations team insetting up training programs for Product Process and Machineries
  • Implement the software used in all Machinerieson a yearly basis.
  • Participate in safetyaudits and inspections review all Operations Risk and takeappropriate actions in the form of Risk Assessments and velocityHazard logging.

Who youare.

  • Ability to performunder pressure.
  • Strong ability to read andinterpret Engineering drawings.
  • Hands onexperience in crafting tools and fixture.
  • Ability to build 2D 3D drawings in modelingsoftware and conduct simulation for structural integrity.
  • Good knowledge of electrical hydraulic andpneumatic systems.
  • Strong analytical skillsand ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills in English

For thisRole You Will Need:

  • Exposure to Industry 4.0techniques like Automation Machine Learning IIOT 3D printing andRobotics
  • Experience in handling Maintenanceof plant machineries.
  • Experience in workingwith ERP system MS Office Skills

Preferred Qualificationsthat Set You Apart:

  • Engineering/bachelorsdegree in mechanical/Instrumentation/Electrical
  • 2 to 5 years experience in ManufacturingEnvironment.
