Weare looking for an experienced Senior Business Analystfor a leading IT consulting client in Sydney. Our clientis a dynamic and growing consulting firm with a focus on deliveringinnovative digital solutions to leading banks, ASX-listedcompanies, and governmentagencies.

Thisis a dual role that combines client delivery and internal practicedevelopment responsibilities.

Someof the key responsibilities areto:
  • Liaisewith business stakeholders in analysing and documenting BusinessProcesses, both current andpreferred
  • Creatingan AS-IS/TO-BE business process mapping (BPM) using BMPN 2.0notation
  • Analysecomplex problems and processes to accurately understand clientsbusiness needs for new business solutions andenhancements
  • Assistwith Business Case development to justify allocation of resourcesfor the implementation of anapplication
  • Consultingwith business, technology, and project stakeholders regardingbusiness analysis and project successfactors
  • Assistinformal evaluation of software systems that may beimplemented
  • Demonstratingcore business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation,process design, data analysis, and implementationsupport.
  • Actas a liaison between business and technical stakeholders tooutline, design and implement new conversations, intents, andknowledgebases.
  • Carryingout system testing and identifying criticaldefects.
  • Managingcommunication, change and adoption across all relevantstakeholders
  • Activelycontribute and be part of an Agile environment and participate indaily SCRUM or Stand-ups, Sprint planning, and Retrospectiveceremonies.
Thisis a leadership role which would involve supporting with practicedevelopment, including training and development of junior teams,providing leadership and oversight, and supporting businessactivities.

Requirements
  • Atleast 7 years of proven experience in the successful management anddelivery of technology or ICT relatedprojects,
  • Knowledgeand experience in Business Analysis and Project Managementmethodologies.
  • Provencapability and experience in working with organisations to assistthe development of business concepts through to finaldelivery
  • Provenexperience working within small to large projects with a goodunderstanding of project managementmethodologies
  • Stronginterpersonal skills, including both oral and writtencommunication, and strong stakeholder engagement skills with ademonstrated ability to quickly build trust and effectively manageexpectations.
  • Demonstratedability to work with a high degree of independence andprofessionalism, including prioritising and undertaking a variedworkload and responding positively and flexibly tochange.
  • Mustbe based in Australia already and have full workingrights.
