We areseeking a highly qualified Senior Internal Auditor with 57 years ofexperience specializing in auditing energy companies to join ourdynamic team in Ajman UAE. The ideal candidatewill possess a strong background in auditing practices financialanalysis risk assessment and compliance within the energy sector.This role requires meticulous attention to detail exceptionalanalytical skills and the ability to work independently as well aspart of a team.

KeyResponsibilities:

Conductcomprehensive internal audits of energy companies to evaluate theeffectiveness of financial controls operational processes andcompliance with regulatorystandards.

  1. Develop andimplement audit plans methodologies and procedures tailored to theunique characteristics and risks associated with energy industryoperations.
  2. Perform detailed testingand analysis of financial data transactions and operationalactivities to identify potential areas of risk inefficiency ornoncompliance.
  3. Prepare clear andconcise audit reports detailing findings recommendations and actionplans to address identified issues and improve internalcontrols.
  4. Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to ensure audit findings are effectivelycommunicated understood and remediated in a timelymanner.
  5. Stay abreast of emergingtrends regulatory changes and best practices in the energy sectorto enhance audit methodologies and maintain compliance withindustry standards.
  6. Provide guidanceand support to junior audit staff including mentoring training andreviewing their work to ensure quality and consistency in auditprocesses.
  7. Foster positive workingrelationships with key stakeholders including senior managementdepartment heads and external auditors to facilitate opencommunication and cooperation throughout the auditprocess.





Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or relatedfield; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA CIACISA) is preferred.
  • 57 years ofprogressive experience in internal auditing with a focus on theenergy sector; experience auditing oil and gas companies is highlydesirable.
  • Strong understanding ofauditing principles techniques and standards with a proven trackrecord of conducting riskbased audits and delivering actionablerecommendations.
  • Proficiency in dataanalysis tools and software applications (e.g. Excel ACL IDEA) toextract manipulate and analyze large volumes of financial andoperational data.
  • Excellentcommunication skills both verbal and written with the ability toeffectively communicate complex audit findings and recommendationsto diverse audiences.
  • Demonstratedleadership abilities including the ability to work independentlymanage multiple priorities and lead audit teams to successfuloutcomes.
  • Willingness to relocate toAjman UAE and eligibility to work in thecountry.

Excellent communication skills,both verbal and written, with the ability to effectivelycommunicate complex audit findings and recommendations to diverseaudiences. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the abilityto work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead auditteams to successful outcomes. Willingness to relocate to Ajman,UAE, and eligibility to work in the country.
