This role also involves staff management, commercial discipline, and showroom stock management. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the design process, creating and developing furniture design concepts, and providing creative leadership to the showroom design team. Responsibilities Manage customer relationships and ensure customer retention and ongoing engagement. Ensure overall showroom upkeep, merchandising, and retail hygiene. Manage showroom staff and ensure compliance to policies in all showroom transactions. Manage showroom stock, including inventory control, accuracy, and upkeep. Prepare floor layouts and presentations, inspect and survey sites, and develop detailed designs using computer-aided design. Create and develop overall furniture design concepts and formulate design presentation strategies. Provide creative leadership to the showroom design team through constant interaction and in-house training. Ensure quality standards in design creation and drawings produced by the team. Adhere to the company's set processes and ensure compliance of processes by the showroom staff. Prepare duty roster for showroom sales team and ensure compliance to the same. Review the customer card and approve. Provide confirmation and approval for Salesperson allocation for each customer. Ensure overall activities in the sales process is reviewed and teams are briefed. Sign-off on daily document bundle for Purchases. Review Sales orders created, ensure deliverables against sales orders are met. Review report on causes of sales returns. Receive report on daily customer walk-ins and review. Monitor showroom team performance and provide inputs wherever needed. Ensure that the showroom functions at the timings set by the Division Head and the Management. Participate in the planning of the display of merchandise on the shop floor. Ensure that showroom retail hygiene and merchandising are as per guidelines laid out by the company and the brand principals (where applicable). Requirements for the RoleProven experience in sales management, preferably in a showroom setting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Proficiency in computer-aided design. Strong creative and design skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
