- Collaborates with own technicaldiscipline or Service Line within all regions to secure additionalprojects needed to maintain own team members and personalutilization.
- Consolidates information gainedfrom working collaboratively across multi-discipline projects withothers at a similar level in different parts of the Region, withthe purpose of providing input towards the development of thebusiness plan for the Business Group. From a technical perspective,influences the development of the Business Group businessplan.
- Lead and mentor theteam.
- Accountable for organization of team,coordination of resourcing, managing project budgets and reportingto BGL.
- Develops, implements and enhancesprocesses and procedures for own Business Group drawing onknowledge of local legislative requirements, global bestpractice.
- Consolidates and prioritizessolutions developed across different projects and clients, andleverages these for the benefit of the broader Region, or Project,or Service Line, and beyond. Solves complex / advanced problems byadopting a new perspective to identify solutions without thebenefit of defined procedures.
- Would be calledupon to be responsible for medium-sized projects in the role ofProject Director.
- Identifies new product orservice offerings to better meet the needs of existing clients ormarkets. Leads the development and submission of proposals forlarge or complex, high-risk projects, which may involve convincinginternal and external stakeholders who at times may be unwilling orskeptical to accept proposals or plans. Is technically sought outboth within GHD and from external national and/or internationalclients / industry bodies to act as a trusted advisor. Activelycontributes to thought leadership as an industry leader (typicallythrough papers published / regular conference speakingengagements). Is recognized within the Region / discipline as beinghighly technically capable and is regularly drawn on for technicalknowledge by others.
- Leads and oversees thework of a large or complex project team to achieve projectmilestones and objectives; includes delegating assignments,ensuring compliance, setting priorities, reprioritizing asrequired, and monitoring progress.
- Communicatesand contextualizes Region strategy and goals for a BusinessGroup.
- works independently with minimalguidance from Supervisor or more senior teammembers.
