JobDescription

• Practice a high standard of healthand safety, ensuring equipment is operated safely and in accordancewith EHS/Quality Standards andPolicies.
• Participate in 5s, Walk the Flooretc.
• Set-up and calibrateequipment.
• Process parts including preparation,before or after inspection.
• Select theappropriate technique for the NDT method to beperformed.
• Interpret and evaluate results foracceptance standards and specifications, or rejection in accordancewith approved work instructions and customer qualitystandards.
• Documentresults.
• Assist with departmental andimprovement projects.
• Assist with internal andexternal departmental audits; for example: NADCAPAudits.
• Operation of mobileequipment.
• To undertake additional training aspart of a multi-disciplined team ofinspectors.
• Providing the necessary guidanceand/or supervision of trainees.
• Undertake othertasks within the scope of your expertise as and whenrequired.
  
  

The SuccessfulApplicant

• Desirable: ASNT and/or PCN at level 2in UT Contact/Immersion/Etch
• Desirable:Experience within NDT and visual inspection environment and similarindustry. Dependent on experience will determine length andtraining requirements.
• Desirable: Basicknowledge and understanding of relevant product manufacturing andinspection technology.
• All necessary trainingwill be provided for the successfulcandidate.
• Computer literate and competent withMicrosoft Packages; for example: Word andExcel.
• Training will be provided on bespokein-house IT systems andprocesses.
