Responsibilities:

  1. Leada team of backend developers in designing developing andmaintaining scalable and efficient backend systems andAPIs.
  2. Provide technical guidance and mentorshipto team members ensuring adherence to coding standards bestpractices and project deadlines.
  3. Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams including product management frontenddevelopment and quality assurance to define technical requirementsand project deliverables.
  4. Architect andimplement robust secure and maintainable backend solutions usingappropriate technologies and designpatterns.
  5. Participate in code reviews debuggingand troubleshooting to ensure code quality and systemreliability.
  6. Continuously evaluate and adoptnew technologies tools and frameworks to improve developmentprocesses and enhance productcapabilities.
  7. Lead by example in writing cleanwelldesigned and testable code and promote a culture of codequality and innovation within the team.
  8. Defineand implement best practices for version control continuousintegration and deploymentautomation.
  9. Collaborate with DevOps andinfrastructure teams to optimize backend infrastructure and ensurescalability reliability and performance.
  10. Stayupdated on emerging trends and advancements in backend developmenttechnologies and provide recommendations for technology stackenhancements.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Engineering or relatedfield.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience workingas a backend developer or similar role in theUAE.
  3. Proven experience in leading backenddevelopment teams and managing software developmentprojects.
  4. Strong proficiency in backenddevelopment languages such as Java Python Node.js orRuby.
  5. Experience with backendframeworks/libraries such as Spring Boot Django Express.js or Rubyon Rails.
  6. Solid understanding of relational andNoSQL databases with handson experience in database designoptimization and querying.
  7. Familiarity withRESTful API design principles and experience in building andconsuming APIs.
  8. Proficiency in version controlsystems (e.g. Git) and familiarity with CI/CDpipelines.
  9. Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith team members and stakeholders.
  10. Strongproblemsolving and analytical abilities with a keen attention todetail and a passion for delivering highquality softwaresolutions.
