  • Perform the role of performingauthority/job officer by performing the task and directing theworkforce, consisting of mechanical technicians, vendorrepresentative and riggers during preventive / corrective /breakdown / shutdown / turnaround maintenance in the Super Complexand Well Head Towers.
  • Receives work requestfrom Mechanical Mainteance Supervisor. Attends directly to requestsfrom various areas & WHTs for maintenance of differentstatic equipments (vessels, air coolers, tanks, columns,accumulators, pig launcher/receivers etc), utility packages, piping& valves.
  • Performs installation,removal, inspection and repair work of mechanical spare parts onutiliy packages, piping, valves etc, in accordance with O&Mmanuals.
  • Safely directs assigned workforce(technicians, vendors, riggers, sub contractors) consisting ofrelated skills, as well as participates in the workforcetasks.
  • Works on passive fire protection coatingof static equipments and supports in line with international codesand standards
  • Performs piping & valvesinsulation and heat tracing maintenance work in addition toperforms flange management using correcttools
  • Assists the supervisor to improve theproductivity of crew by making relevant recommendations as well asto achieve cost effective maintenance in addition to identify therequirement of spare parts and recommends its use on repair orreplacement basis.
  • Prepares inputs for TaskRisk Assessments (TRAs) and monitors tools, spares and othermaterials for conformity with the order for its acceptance andfitness for use, on arrival of items.
  • Checksand verifies the compliance of works executed by the contractorsfor its completion and technicalacceptability.
  • Carries out proper preservationand storage of spare parts & consumables as per vendorprocedures.
  • Prepares root cause analysisreports and fill up documents such as work permits, materialrequest etc.
  • Use maintenance management systemfor raising and closing WOs, PMRs, material requestsetc.
  • Provide comprehensive and detailede-logbook handovers at the end of each shift and crewchange.
