  • Carry out any jobs on facilities andequipment that need routine or emergency rectification at servicestations and Depot/Plants. Attend to complaints received from endusers and physically visit the site to ascertain the extent of theproblem, carrying out any minor repairs, or contacting maintenancecontractors for major defects andexpertise.
  • Inspect, monitor and follow-up themaintenance contractors to ensure that required standard of work isprovided on time and in line with contract terms and conditions andall reported problems are rectifiedsatisfactorily.
  • Provide technical supervisionover the execution of development contracts related to minorprojects and modification.
  • Plays a lead role inensuring proper handovers and organize the work closeoutcertificates like Provisional Acceptance Certificates(PAC).
  • Revisit sites having had problems toinspect and assess the work done, ensuring the problem is rectifiedas per standards and preparing a written report and submit toMaintenance Supervisor.
  • Check the 3rd partycontractor in carrying out a variety of maintenance jobs for theService Station and Offices, undertaking daily rotational checkingand inspection of Signage and civilworks.
  • Rectify any minor problems of urgentnature and report any major problems to the SupervisorGeneral

Maintenance and MaintenanceContractor.

  • Review thedaily check list generated by the Contractor as per the daily,weekly, monthly, and yearly schedule servicereports.
  • Guide the maintenance contractor toaccess the various utilities installed in the office buildings andservice station in accordance with the as-built drawings, providingthe necessary information to perform the various preventive/breakdown maintenance works.
  • Attend to variouscomplaints at Service Station and Offices related to maintenancereceived through the Oracle ERP system for civil,signage,
  • Provide support for Civil maintenanceactivities carried out within the Maintenance Division such ascarpentry, painting, air conditioning, plumbingetc.
  • Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly,carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment isreturned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safetyprecautions are taken.
  • Ensure the safetyinstructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the workin a hazardous area (safety checks).
  • Undertakefiling duties of the entire completed Preventive Maintenanceschedule on a regular basis to maintain updated records, carryingout duties of other Maintenance Technicians during their absent/annual leave.
  • Attend to end user queries andrequests in the Supervisor'sabsence.
  • Check the Bill of quantities on sitesubmitted by the contractors.
  • Inspect and makereport on the ongoing major projects.
  • Assurethe quality of material used for the execution of works duringroutine inspections.

MinimumRequirements

  • Technical Diploma or Secondary SchoolCertificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevantfield
  • Diploma in CivilEngineering
  • At least 4 years of experience inGeneral Maintenance department in Oil and GasIndustry
