Asa Surgery Consultant you will play a crucial role in providingexpert advice and guidance on surgical procedures and practiceswithin our organization. You will collaborate with medicalprofessionals including surgeons physicians and other healthcarestaff to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety.Your expertise will contribute to optimizing surgical outcomesimplementing best practices and advancing the field of surgerywithin ourinstitution.


  • Provideexpert consultation on surgical cases including preoperativeplanning intraoperative decisionmaking and postoperativemanagement.
  • Collaboratewith surgical teams to review complex cases discuss treatmentoptions and develop comprehensive surgicalplans.
  • Conductthorough assessments of patients medical histories diagnostic testsand imaging studies to formulate appropriate surgicalstrategies.
  • Offerguidance on surgical techniques instrumentation and equipmentselection to optimize patient outcomes and minimizerisks.
  • Stayabreast of advancements in surgical technology techniques andevidencebased practices to ensure the delivery of stateoftheartsurgicalcare.
  • Participatein interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progressaddress concerns and coordinate multidisciplinary careplans.
  • Provideeducation and training to medical staff residents and fellows onsurgical procedures patient care protocols and safetypractices.
  • Collaboratewith quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical processesreduce complications and improve patientsatisfaction.
  • Serveas a resource for clinical staff regarding surgical guidelinesprotocols and standards ofcare.
  • Maintainaccurate documentation of patient consultations surgical plans andoutcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements andinstitutional policies.


RequirementsExperienceFrom US (Board) Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT) Ireland(CSD CSCST) Australia &NZ (Fellowship) France (DES DESC)And Other European Countries According to The QualificationEquivalence Tables of the UAEMOH
Minimum 2 to 3 yearsexperience in a hospital environment Western and Asian countriesexperience is preferred. Asians with Gulf experience ispreferred.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office suite
Fluencyin written and spokenEnglish
MOH registeredPreferred
Ability to multitaskprioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpacedenvironment.
Willing to workflexible hours as and whenrequired
