Job Title: Head of Sports (British SchoolExperience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated Head of Sports withexperience in a British school setting to lead our sportsdepartment within a prestigious private school in the UAE. Thisrole presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned sportsprofessional to make a significant impact on the physicaldevelopment and wellbeing of our students while fostering a cultureof sportsmanship and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Sports ProgramLeadership:
Develop and oversee a comprehensive sportsprogram catering to students' diverse interests andabilities.
Strategize and implement training sessionscompetitions and events across various sportsdisciplines.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols andbest practices in sports training and competition.

Coaching and Development:
Recruit train andsupervise a team of qualified coaches with experience.
Provide mentorship and support to coaches to enhance their coachingskills and techniques.
Identify talented athletes andprovide opportunities for their development andadvancement.

Facilities Management:
Manage sports facilities and equipment ensuring they arewellmaintained and conducive to safe and effectivetraining.
Coordinate scheduling of sports facilities forpractices matches and other events.

StudentEngagement and Participation:
Promote activeparticipation in sports among students through engaging initiativesand programs.
Provide guidance and support to studentsto help them discover and develop their sporting interests andtalents.
Foster a culture of sportsmanship teamwork andfair play among students.

CommunityEngagement:
Collaborate with parents alumni and externalstakeholders to promote sports and wellness initiatives within theschool community.
Organize community sports events andoutreach programs to enhance the school's visibility andengagement.

Administration andReporting:
Maintain accurate records of sports programsincluding participation achievements and budgets.
Prepare regular reports and updates for school management andstakeholders on sports program activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor'sdegree in Sports Management Physical Education or a related field;master's degree preferred.
Significantexperience in sports management coaching or related rolespreferably with experience in British school sportsprograms.
Proven leadership skills with the ability toinspire and motivate a team.
Strong organizational andadministrative abilities with attention to detail andunderstanding.
Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
Passion for sports and a commitment to promotingphysical health and wellbeing within the Framework of Britishschool sports education.
Flexibility to work eveningsand weekends as required by sports events andcompetitions.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic isan advantage.
