JobDescription:

We are seeking a dynamicand creative Public Relations Specialist to joinour team a leading crypto media platform. The ideal candidate willhave a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency media andblockchain media space; excellent media relations skills and theability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with industrystakeholders and the public. You will be responsible for managingour companys public image building relationships with the media andcreating communication strategies that elevate our brand in therapidly evolving world ofcryptocurrency.

  • KeyResponsibilities:
  • MediaRelations:
  • Developand maintain strong relationships with key journalists influencersand media outlets within the cryptocurrency blockchain and fintechindustries.
      • Proactivelypitch stories press releases and thought leadership content torelevant media outlets.
      • Respond to mediainquiries and ensure accurate and timely coverage of the companyand itsinitiatives.
  • ContentDevelopment:
  • Craftpress releases media kits blog posts and articles that communicatethe companys mission news and keydevelopments.
  • Collaboratewith the content and marketing teams to ensure messaging is alignedacross allplatforms.
      • Developand manage the companys thought leadership strategy by identifyingspeaking opportunities interviews and events for companyexecutives.
  • CrisisManagement:
  • Managethe companys reputation and public image during both proactive andreactivesituations.
      • Prepareand execute communication strategies to handle crises includingdrafting statements coordinating media responses and managinginternalcommunications.
  • Event Management andParticipation:
      • Identifyand facilitate opportunities for the companys presence atcrypto/blockchain industry events conferences andpanels.
      • Assist in preparing executives forpublic speaking engagements including creating talking points andbriefing documents.
      • Coordinate media coveragefor events the company sponsors or participatesin.
  • Social Media & DigitalPR:
      • Workclosely with the social media team to align PR efforts with socialmedia strategies ensuring consistent brand voice and messagingacross all digital platforms.
      • Monitor mediacoverage and public sentiment about the company providing analysisand reports on PR campaigneffectiveness.
  • InternalCommunications:
      • Supportinternal communications efforts to ensure employees are informedand aligned with the companys vision andgoals.
      • Assist in creating and distributingnewsletters memos or internal announcements regarding companyupdates.
  • RequiredQualifications:
      • Bachelorsdegree in Public Relations Communications Journalism Marketing or arelated field.
      • 3 years of public relationsexperience preferably within the cryptocurrency fintech ortechnology sectors.
      • Proven track record indeveloping media strategies and securing positive mediacoverage.
      • Exceptional writing editing andcommunication skills.
      • Strong understanding ofthe cryptocurrency landscape including blockchain technology DeFiNFTs and industry trends.
      • Ability to handlesensitive and confidential information withdiscretion.
      • Strong organizational skills andthe ability to manage multiple projects under tightdeadlines.
      • Familiarity with media monitoringand PR tools (e.g. Cision Meltwater) and social mediaplatforms.
  • PreferredQualifications:
      • Existingrelationships with crypto or blockchainfocused mediaoutlets.
      • Experience working in a fastpacedstartup or media environment.
      • Knowledge of SEOand content marketing bestpractices.
