Managing Director at EMCO Engineering Consultants L.L.C Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Design / Site) Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Company: EMCO Engineering Consultants Experience Required: Minimum 5 years Salary Range: AED 5,000 – 8,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) Job Overview: EMCO Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer (Design / Site) to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and site supervision , with proven experience in high-rise and large-scale building projects . This role requires technical expertise, regulatory awareness, and coordination skills to ensure project excellence from concept to execution. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications for building projects. Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection in accordance with project requirements and standards. Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, FEWA, SEWA, etc.). Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements . Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to approved designs and safety codes. Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure integration. Participate in technical meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants. Support project management in achieving timely delivery and technical excellence . Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus ). Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering consultancy environment. Proven experience in high-rise or large-scale building projects . Strong knowledge of MEP systems , electrical design codes, and UAE regulatory frameworks . Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit , and electrical design software. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills . Must hold a valid classification/accreditation from the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA). Familiarity with local authority submission procedures and documentation standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
