Cost Controller

As a cost controller, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost management, cost control, and financial analysis for (Company Name). You will work closely with various departments to ensure that financial goals are achieved through effective budgeting, monitoring expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data and future projections.
- Monitor ongoing expenses and compare them to the budget.
- Analyze cost trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and guidelines.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs.
- Prepare regular reports outlining financial performance and present findings to management.
- Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements.
- Implement cost control initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to track project costs and expenditures.
- Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a cost controller, cost accountant, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
