  • Project leadership: Lead andmanage client projects, building trusted relationships with clientsand APCO colleagues, providing guidance on topical climatestrategies for clients across a range of projects andtopics
  • Manage and supervise large/complexconsulting mandates throughout their entire project cycle:initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controllingand closure
  • Plan and implement projects toensure the most efficient and highest-qualityimplementation
  • Interact and build relationshipswith our international clients and manage the timely delivery ofmandates
  • Provide guidance on and technicalleadership in the development of proposals for the corporate sectoron topic corporate climate strategies, climate change mitigationsolutions and implementation of advisoryprojects
  • Communication: Provide clear directionand feedback on how best to communicate strategic thinking acrossdifferent contexts, authoritatively presents and facilitates acrossall project workstreams internally and externally; and can managediverse stakeholder input and the project’s strategicperspective in real-time
  • Management: Manage andsupervise direct line-reports, delegating responsibilities andsupporting the work of consultants by providing guidance andmotivation to drive maximum performance and their owndevelopment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree orEquivalent

  • Content Leadership: Have a strong graspon climate and sustainability content and can develop and structureeffective projects that deliver climate actionplans
  • 6 to 10 years plus of full-time workexperience, ideally with a strong strategy background from anagency, consultancy, business, non-profit or government with afocus on climate change and/or sustainability issues. You have ademonstrated track record and/or commitment to climate change andclient-facing experience.
  • Experience onsustainability / ESG communications (in particular campaigning andpotentially reporting) and being familiar with sustainabilityissues (more on the environment than social side, e.g. plastics,waste, circular economy, water, biodiversity, carbon emission) isrequired for the role.
