Our client is an international manufacturer and distributor of FMCG products across the Middle East and Africa. Representing some of the industry’s leading brands, they are a distributor of choice internationally and have enjoyed consistent year-on-year growth in recent times. They also produce private label and regional brands. Due to continued further department expansion, we are looking for a Procurement Manager with circa 3-5 years’ experience seeking an exciting opportunity to grow and develop with an organisation. The role will focus on leading the Purchasing function of a new division in the business located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and be part of ambitious expansion plans, providing excellent exposure to senior personnel and challenging responsibilities. Key areas of focus include: Developing and Implementing Procurement Strategies, Inventory Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Risk Management, Performance Monitoring, and Cost Optimisation. You will be an outstanding communicator and negotiator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. To be considered for the role it is essential you have at least 3-5 years within direct Procurement ideally for a major manufacturing organisation, this could be within FMCG or packaging.
