  • Collaborate with cybersecurityarchitects to design and review comprehensive cybersecuritysolutions that align with NEOM's security policies andregulatory requirements.
  • Assist in RFPsdevelopment for cybersecurity technologies andsolutions.
  • Evaluation and selection of vendorsfor cybersecurity technologies and services, based on definedcriteria.
  • Review the configuration ofCybersecurity technologies, including Firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM,Endpoint security, IAM solutions, andothers.
  • Assist in conducting assessments toidentify gaps and maturity levels of Cybersecurity technologies,according to enterprise reference security architecturerequirements. Propose an optimisation plan to address any gapsEnsuring the smooth operation and functionality of securitysolutions through testing andtroubleshooting.
  • Creating and maintainingcomprehensive documentation for all implemented cybersecuritysolutions, configurations, and bestpractices.
  • Preparing reports and presentationsto communicate status/progress of Cybersecurity SolutionEngineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams including IT, Network and Infrastructure, Data andApplication Development to ensure that solutions are integratedeffectively into various systems andprocesses.
  • Staying up to date on industrystandards and regulations related to cybersecurity solutionsengineering.

The SuccessfulApplicant

The CybersecurityEngineering Manager will be/have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computerscience, Information Security or a related field of study(Master's degreepreferred)
  • Professional certifications such asCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC DefensibleSecurity Architecture, or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitionerare preferred.
  • Proven experience incybersecurity solution engineering, with at least 8 years in asimilar role.
  • In-depth knowledge ofcybersecurity principles, technologies, and bestpractices.
  • Track record of successfullydeploying security tools and technologies such as firewalls,intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint securitysolutions, data protection solutions, IAM solutions, SIEM/SOCsolutions, antivirus, encryption solutions,etc.
  • Strong vendor managementskills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analyticalskills.
  • Strong communication and teamworkskills.
  • Ability to work independently andmanage projects successfully.
