Job Summary:

We need a talented Junior Landscape Architect to join our Dubai team. You'll be responsible for creating concept designs from client briefs and translating them into 3D visuals and further into clear, precise drawings, keeping projects moving at lightning speed. Excellent communication is key, as you'll be directly working with the lead designer and assisting them in presenting to clients and ensuring everyone's on the same page.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Landscape Architect in developing and designing landscape plans, including site analysis, concept development, and construction documentation, in accordance with client requirements, budget, and environmental considerations.
• Conduct research and gather information on site conditions, climate, regulations, and available resources to inform the design process.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, interior designers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and develop comprehensive design proposals that integrate with the overall project vision.
• Create 2D and 3D design drawings, renderings, and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to clients and project teams.
• Assist the Lead Landscape Architect in selecting appropriate plant materials, hardscape elements, lighting, and other features to create functional and visually appealing outdoor spaces.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers during the construction phase to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and meet quality standards.
• Assist the Lead Landscape Architect in monitoring and inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and environmental regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in landscape architecture and incorporate them into design solutions.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to provide guidance on landscape management, including plant selection, irrigation, and ongoing maintenance requirements.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Landscape Architect in UAE. Applications without any experience in Landscape Architecture will not be considered.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture, or a relevant field.
• Proven experience as a landscape architect, with a portfolio demonstrating successful projects and design expertise.
• Proficient in CAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and other design tools.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant materials, hardscape materials, and construction techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and permits related to landscape architecture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• UAE Driver's license is a must.
