Our client is a Public Listed market leading provider oftotal printing solutions with an established reputation forproviding bestinclass one stop shop solutions to clients in theBanking Banking Government Telecom Retail Hospitality &Transport Sectors. As part of their continued drive to set& maintain the highest standards in all business operationsthey are looking to hire a Compliance Manager (Legal) to help setup & monitor their Legal / Ethics policies &procedures. Having recently become a public listed company they arecreating their own inhouse department to establish best practicepolicies & procedures with the focus to ensure the companyis working to the highest ethical standards of business practices& are compliant to local & internationalregulations. Working closely with the companys Head of Finance& reporting direct to Group General Counsel you will betasked with developing updating and implementing robust compliancepolicies and procedures to ensure the organizations adherence toall relevant laws regulations and internal policies surroundingLegal & Ethics compliance.
Role Summary:
As a Compliance Manager within our clients Legal teamyou will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organizationadheres to all relevant laws regulations and internal policies. Youwill be responsible for developing and implementing complianceprograms policies procedures and monitoring that mitigate riskprotect the organizations reputation and support the companyscommitment to ethical and legal conduct. Main areas of focus in thebusiness will be centered on developing policy to cover Procurement/ Finance operations & Vendor / Client relationships.
Expertise in dealing with regulatory bodies such as theADX and SCA is highly desirable along with a strong understandingof relevant compliance laws regulations and reporting frameworks toregulatory authorities. Effective stakeholder management excellentcommunication skills (especially in English with Arabic proficiencyas a plus) and proficiency in project management and relevantsoftware tools are also essential qualifications for this position.You will also be able to put together & deliver internaltraining sessions to ensure all key stakeholders are fully aware ofcompany policy and that all business operations are functioning incompliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage the delivery ofour clients Ethics and Compliance Program.
  • Responsible for delivering generalist and specialist compliancetraining groupwide in accordance with the annual compliancetraining plan.
  • Undertake compliance relatedinvestigations as and when required.
  • Engage inregular internal stakeholder management in accordance with thecompliance engagement model.
  • Conduct regularrisk assessment and control testing of key compliance risks mostlikely to impact our clients group of companies anddivisions.
  • Support business functions toremediate and mitigate identified compliancerisks.
  • Provide strategic compliance advice toour clients international expansion program in compliance withinternational export control and sanctionsregulations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expertfor internal stakeholders for all compliance relatedmatters.
  • Liaise with the ADX and Securitiesand Commissions Authority building a trusted relationship andcooperation.
  • Assist with any compliancerelated matters procedures and processes ensuring best practice isfollowed.
  • Support the design andimplementation of new tools and techniques to continuously improvethe quality and delivery of Compliance services groupwide.

QUALIFICATIONS& EXPERIENCE:
  • You will beprofessionally qualified in a wellknown jurisdiction (such as butnot exclusively the UK/Australia/US) with a bachelors degree in lawor related field (masters degree preferred). Minimum 10 years PQE(minimum of 5 years within the Middle East).
  • Minimum Experience:
  • Have a proven track recordwith a listed company and dealings with applicable exchangeregulators (the ADX and SCA very much a plus).
  • You will be professionally certified in Compliance orGovernance.
  • Have a minimum 5 years proventrack record in compliance roles in particular experience withdeveloping and implementing a compliance framework and programtraining plan communications plan training log etc.
  • Have a proven track record working with alisted company and dealings with applicable Exchange regulator (theADX and SCA very much a plus).
  • Have a strongknowledge of relevant compliance (sanctions and export control)laws regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Have excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmakingskills.
  • Be able to demonstrate having operatedat a senior level handling complex international and domesticregion compliance matters.
  • Proven experiencein internal stakeholder management andengagement.
  • Possess outstanding written andverbal communication skills (English with Arabic aplus).
  • Be able to effectively plan and managemultiple projects and demanding workload.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Power Point andAdobe Professional
  • Demonstrate knowledgeworking with restricted party screening andreporting.
