Joinery Foreman

We are looking for a qualified joinery Foreman for our interior and fit out factory situated in Umm Al Quwain. The person will be responsible for the layout, installation and finishing according to specifications and drawing. He will work in different jobsite, retail spaces, with possibility to have projects in residential/commercial/industrial areas as well as in house production unit. A successful applicant should have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry Fit out materials. The goal is to contribute to the installation and maintenance of strong and long-lasting structures for high-end customers. Responsibilities & Skills Taking measurements and verify that all products will be installed correctly, report any in congruencies and provide some solution on site Knowledge in Joinery, Interior Decoration and Fit out works Take proper care of the finished materials on site, stock them properly and protect them against any damage Install doors and frame. Effective utilization of resources such as man, machine & material on holding the complete wastage reduction. Lay out floorings, partitions, ensuring they are following the drawings and instructions of Production Manager install where designated Able to inspect places, perform site survey and conduct repairs or maintenance, when required Strong Hands-on experience in working with most of the carpentry materials with ability to operate electrical and manual equipment as well as well as measurement tools Follow directions of the Engineer as well as the Site Manager from site & follow the schedule assigned and all security and compliance requirements (health and safety protocol and local building codes) Requirements: Proven experience as carpenter (minimum 4yrs) Knowledge of English & Hindi (mandatory) Good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and Interiors Fit out construction Willingness to follow safety guidelines and good conduct UAE valid driving license Job Type: Permanent. Starting date: immediate.
