Job Description

  • RE will be reported to the SRE.

  • Act as Engineer’s Representative.

  • Coordinate with Client and Contractor.

  • Liaise with other Authorities.

  • Advise on contractual and construction matters.

  • Coordinate forward planning.

  • Generally, supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.

  • Convene and chair regular site meetings.

  • Coordinate and monitor activities of his team.

  • Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

  • Issue site instructions.

  • Give final approval to Works and arrange Handover.

  • Supervise Contractor’s works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.

  • Review Contractor’s Submissions.

  • Provide all necessary on-site direction.

  • Supervise site inspection staff.

  • Check measure of work done.

  • Observe site safety practices.

  • Advise on contractor’s resource allocation.

  • Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings.

  • Must comply with safety, health, and risk management requirements.

  • Arrange meeting with authorities to resolve site conflict issues and

  • Obtaining approval for shop drawings and NOC from concern authorities.

  • Develop designs, plans, and construction for utility systems, such as water, wastewater, storm water, etc.

  • Reviewing of method statement, shop drawings, Material submittals, Prequalification submittals, etc.

  • Interacted with state and local agencies to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

  • Direct project groups and/or technicians, providing activities and guidance on utility process, design, and construction.

  • Monitored impacts of changes to infrastructure, effectively determining courses of actions based on site conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Degree in Engineering OR Equivalent
