As the Origination Manager for crude, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the African market. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and partners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the African market for crude
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure a steady flow of business and long-term partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay informed about market trends, pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and customers to secure favorable terms and conditions that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks associated with trading activities, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including trading, operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of trading strategies and operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on market developments, business performance, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
