Role Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager is a Manager position, with a small team of direct reports. This is a regional role, based in Dubai and reporting directly to the Head of Finance and IT. The scope of the role covers Bridgestone entities in KSA, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco.

The FP&A Manager has responsibility for the financial planning and analysis operations, in line with the Bridgestone Group core values. The people population consists of two colleagues.

The scope of the role is to provide finance business partnership and strategic guidance to the business, along with full range of financial planning and analysis activities.

Main responsibilities Financial planning and analysis operations: Consolidate and interpret company\'s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances Manage the preparation of the company\'s budget and rolling forecasts Finance and business partnership Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement One sentence about main responsibility Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput Engage in ongoing cost efficiency in all areas of the company Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement Support decision making process at operational level with the area managers and department heads. Assist in the determination of product pricing and value chain analysis Strategic guidance Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction Lead business cases for strategic initiatives Requirements for the role Candidates will be required to demonstrate and role model the following Bridgestone Values: Agility - to work in a matrix, complex and fast paced environment. Bachelors\' degree in business, finance, or similar field is essential. MBA from an accredited business school EQUIS is a benefit. 7-10 years\' experience in similar role, gained in sales-driven environment. Experience of fast paced, matrix & multinational environment. Experience of working with KSA, Egypt, Jordan or Morocco a benefit. Willing to travel frequently. Strategic problem solver. Ability to translate financial information and drive business decisions. Critical thinker. Thrives in a multicultural, diverse environment. Results Orientated. Excellent written and verbal English any other language a requirement/benfit.
