We are looking for an organized procurement officer to handle purchasing. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in securing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our business. Under the supervision of the Finance Dept. Head, the Procurement Officer has the responsibility for the management of the daily procurement activities in the company from the request to the delivery of goods, works, and services. It must follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming stock, and be responsible for approving purchases.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE*Basic level qualification is essential*2 years experience as a Procurement Officer, or similar role (in the UAE)*Preferred experience in building materials and factory materials purchases*Computer literacy qualification is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word-processing applications*Procurement Software and Asset Software experience is essential*Accounting Software is an advantage*Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferredJob Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):Is your work experience relevant to the industrial, steel fabrication, or manufacturing field?Are you here in the UAE?
