Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cost & Verification Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to support project managers with cost & verification control of projects.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Utilising proven best practices in cost management to support project and programme managers in making informed decisions about budget, expected spend profiles (forecasts), and potential risks and opportunities associated with cost management.

+ Review cost applications by suppliers to ensure costs are validated and match value of work completed and aligned with expectations, and regularly providing updates on most likely cost spend profiles to managers.

+ Work closely with other key stakeholders (eg. Asset Management, Finance) to forecast, measure and influence cost and spend profiles in line with business expectations, specifically highlighting variances, and supporting continuous improvement

+ Supporting project and programme managers and other project control specialists with building quality cost & resource loaded schedules and in preparing documentation to support variation orders in accordance with ADDC governance requirements

+ Improving Capex spend forecasting accuracy by analysing past and current spend profiles to anticipate future spend

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent experience

+ At least 5 years' experience in cost managementGood data management & analysis skills

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Good verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

+ GCC experience preferred
