As a Materials Engineer at a leading fitout company in Dubai, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of high-quality fitout projects. You will be responsible for assessing, selecting, and overseeing the use of materials during the construction and fitout processes. By leveraging your expertise in materials science, engineering principles, and industry standards, you will contribute to the company\'s commitment to delivering exceptional fitout solutions for their clients.

Responsibilities: Material Selection and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify suitable materials for various fitout projects. Evaluate materials\' properties, durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to verify that materials meet required specifications and industry standards. Monitor and inspect material installations to maintain the highest quality throughout the project lifecycle. Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure high-quality materials at competitive prices. Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure a steady and efficient supply chain. Project Planning and Support: Work closely with the project management and design teams to provide valuable input during the planning phase. Advise on the most appropriate materials and construction techniques to achieve project goals efficiently. Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date with local and international building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices. Ensure that all materials used in the projects comply with relevant standards and guidelines. Cost Analysis: Assist in cost estimation and budgeting by providing accurate material cost data and forecasting potential expenses related to materials procurement. Material Testing: Organize and conduct material testing procedures to assess their performance under specific conditions, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements or adjustments. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance fitout processes and material selection methodologies, aiming to optimize performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Health and Safety: Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and encouraging the implementation of best practices during material handling and installation. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience 8 years in a materials engineering role within the construction, fitout, or related industry. Mjust be based in Dubai Strong knowledge of materials science, properties, and applications. Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards. Proficiency in conducting material testing and analysis. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, suppliers, and clients effectively. Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.
