ABOUT THE FUNCTION This Engineering function is responsible for maintenance and planning across the hotel to ensure full availability and serviceability of hotel facilities and to minimise disruption for guests. It is responsible for overseeing all repair work, preventative maintenance and reconstruction work is completed to standard, as well as ensuring functional emergency recovery plans.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Minimum Certification in Maintenance Engineering or related Technical field. Minimum of 1 -2 years\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2 experience in a similar position in a 5-star hospitality company. Good knowledge of preventive maintenance of Hotel assets.

Key Job Responsibilities Responsibilities and Duties for Engineering supervisor/ Manager Assist management in direct oversight of department\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2s daily operation. Participate in assigned long-term preventative maintenance programs and projects. Involve in department\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2s routine operations by handling repairs and assisting management with administrative duties. Perform major repair of hired mechanical systems. Prepare process plans for new parts, time studies and prepare quotations for parts. Determine equipment required and justification through conducting feasibility studies. Develop and maintain relations with Engineering Manager, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance departments on manufacturing concerns. Decide on equipment\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2s, materials, and subcontract sources. Supervise installation and initial startup of engineering equipment. Perform and record machine tool capability studies. Identify and debug for production problems as needed. Modify processes to enhance operation productivity. Assign, train, develop and supervise work of engineering department. Ensure accident estimates are prepared promptly, repairs are done timely and liaise with surveyor. Develop relations with external customers on improvement work. Job Requires\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xc2\xa6 2-3 Years of hospitality experience Technical certificate.
