The role:

As a Payment Operations Specialist at Tabby, you will play a key role in the financial operations of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to manage payment processing, monitor transaction records, resolve payment-related issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong aptitude for financial operations, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Payment Processing:
Manage the end-to-end payment process, including receiving, verifying, and recording incoming payments. Process payments through various channels Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payment processing. Transaction Monitoring:
Regularly review transaction records and statements to identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or issues promptly, maintaining a high level of accuracy. Compliance and Regulations:
Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that all payments adhere to legal and industry standards. Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to payment processing. Reporting:
Generate reports related to payment activities, reconciliation, and financial performance for internal stakeholders. Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis and insights. Vendor Management:
Respond to payment-related inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner. Maintain and build relationships with all service providers and market players. Ensure cost optimisation and keep up to date with all the latest pricing in the market across all vendors. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized payment records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes. Assist in the archiving and retrieval of financial documents as needed. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise A bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in payment processing, financial operations, or a similar role. A strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards. Proficiency in using financial software and tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and discretion.
