About You

You will be a teacher who is passionate about their profession and seeks continuous improvement. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, for parents and for colleagues. You will have strong experience of the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage.

You will be an excellent communicator who will work well with all members of the community. You will have a strong focus on being the best teacher you can be and will also participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life. You will be responsible for encouraging and developing further our culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success. About the Role

Our school follows the English national curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme post-16. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful, and expectations are high for achievement for all students. Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents is essential and is a key part of maximising student progress. Provide outstanding learning experiences for students by: Planning effective teaching programmes which provide exemplary learning opportunities within and beyond the classroom; Positively targeting and supporting individual learning needs; Maintaining high levels of behaviour and discipline; Effectively using homework and other extra-curricular learning opportunities; Establishing a purposeful and safe learning environment; Using modern technology to enhance learning opportunities. Monitoring, Assessment, Recording, Reporting
Make effective use of formative and summative assessment to plan challenging learning opportunities for all students; Monitor and record students\' learning to ensure they remain on track to achieve and exceed expectations; Report on progress to all stakeholders. Pastoral Duties
Establish a purposeful and safe learning environment for all students; Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and of the class as a whole; Contribute to the preparation of action plans and other support mechanisms; Alert appropriate staff to problems experienced by students and make recommendations as to how these may be resolved; Communicate effectively with parents, liaising with other staff as appropriate. The ability to integrate technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students Successfully teach students using technology in a virtual/hybrid environment Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations. Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures. Excellent analytical skills - with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success. Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs. Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be you current Head Teacher/Principal.
