About the Role

As a trusted partner to companies, boards of directors, investors, lenders and creditors around the world, the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment is focused on delivering restructuring, business transformation and transaction solutions. FTI Consulting expanded their practice offering in the Middle East region by introducing a dedicated Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice, providing solutions to a wide range of stakeholders in the banking, private equity, sovereign wealth, and corporate sectors in acquisitions and disposals as well as stressed and distressed situations across the Middle East.

How You will Grow

Our Dubai-based Corporate Finance graduate programme will provide you with the opportunity to work across the practices of the Corporate Finance segment, including Restructuring, Valuations &Transactions, Tax advisory and Business Transformation. You will be immersed in a fast-paced learning environment, where your development will be supported as much by an extensive training programme as by colleagues and senior members of your teams.

Through these rotations, you will have the chance to gain exposure to an incredibly diverse roster of clients across various industries.

The rotations also provide the opportunity to build relationships with colleagues of all levels around our business and offers unique insight into the many possible career paths that exist within the Corporate Finance practice.

Throughout the scheme you will be supported by your performance coach and a buddy who can support and guide you through your career goals and development, in addition to our Human Resources team. You will also be part of a larger graduate cohort, within the wider FTI Consulting business. As such, you will have a strong network around you of like-minded young professionals and those dedicated to furthering your career development.

What you will do

Your typical day might include the following: Undertaking a variety of research tasks for existing clients Supporting colleagues on new business proposals Summary and analytical tasks Attend meeting and draft meeting minutes Support on general project work: Prepare data books using Excel; Analysis of data and discuss findings with team; Assist in report drafting using Powerpoint. Attending trainings and completing eLearning courses. What You Will Need to Succeed Outstanding communication skills Graduated from a top university with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (or equivalent) no more than 12 months prior Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a business/economics or finance degree Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or MBA preferred but not mandatory A minimum of 1 year work experience in internships preferred (preferably work experience in an Accountancy firm e.g. Big 4) Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint An ability to work individually and as part of the team A strong work ethic Creative flair and the ability to think outside the box Proactivity, and confidence to volunteer for a task without being asked A flexible approach to work, particularly in pressurised situations, and being able to think on your feet Has a good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles Our Benefits
