- Accurate and error free accounting entries.
- Assure proper recording and allocation of accounts backed by valid supporting documents.
- Review reconciliations and preparation of banks and suppliers reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
- Ensure the follow up on the completeness and recording of accounting data.
- Follow up on the monthly closing activities required to provide the accurate and complete trial balance needed for the financial statements preparation.
- Ensure the availability of accurate bank position on perpetual basis.
- Manage the payroll and control the cash outflow
- Review and verify invoices and purchase orders in compliance with the accounting procedures.
- Set invoices up for payment
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Produce monthly reports. Liaising with the financial controller on accounting operation
- Monitor the preparation of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Validate the financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Reconcile accounts payable.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Relationship Management
- Communicate with the auditors and comply with the audit requirements
- Periodic follow up on the intercompany invoicing and balance reconciliation Reporting
- Conduct the treasury reports on monthly basis.
- Conduct the fixed asset report on monthly basis.
- Conduct the fuel consumption report for dispatchers.
- Conduct suppliers report.
- Conduct Bank reconciliation on monthly basis. - Conduct Monthly Profitability Report - Monthly Financial Forecast (3 month) Archiving
- Preparing archiving and maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents (hard and electronic copies) Educational Requirements
Bachelor degree in accounting or business administration,MBA is a plus Knowledge, Technical Skills and Experience:
- Min 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting
- Understanding of the bookkeeping procedures
- Fluent in English & Arabic (Preferable) Good knowledge of accounting & banking regulations and procedures in UAE Hands-on experience with accounting software Advanced MS Excel skills Experience with general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Preferably Female candidate Can join immediately Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to AED3,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
