Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Telecoms Engineer. Execute work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures and Standards Review the project execution schedule developed by the Cost and Planning Department and to develop the detailed schedule for Telecom Engineering and / or Design activities if necessary Prepare telecom design instructions Prepare and develop FAS and telecom system diagram Prepare technical specifications for FAS, CCTV, PA, ACS, LAN and all other telecom equipment Prepare material requisitions for FAS, CCTV, PA, ACS, LAN and all other telecom equipment Issue material requisitions Prepare and develop telecom equipment layout and cable tray outing Prepare and develop MTO of telecom systems Support permitting works Review Vendors\xe2\x80\x99 quotations, prepare technical quotation evaluation and recommend the final technically acceptable Vendor Hold co-ordination meetings and engineering review meetings with Vendors of major equipment as required Review relevant contract design work All policy matters, major technical problems and unresolved differences with other Groups Support the construction team and correspond to the site queries Coordinating with the other discipline engineers for all the needs and technical aspect which can affect the design Ensuring that all comments are consistent and are included in the drawings according to the applicable procedure Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor degree in engineering Minimum 15 years of experience mainly being on oil and gas projects Experience in a PMC or client role is required Company Overview
