Job Purpose & Responsibilities The Procurement Executive/Officer will be responsible of assisting the Manager of the Office of Procurement & Auxiliary Services in managing the university\xe2\x80\x99s procurement of goods and services from external vendors, suppliers and contractors as well as facilitates the management of efficient operations of all university auxiliary providers serving students, faculty, staff and visitors at AURAK Minimum Qualification and Education a) Academic
Essential: Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field Desirable: Master degree b) Professional/Vocational Desirable: Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Required Knowledge and Skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) Procurement principles and practices Analytical skills, networking; negotiation; strong communication; maintaining high attention to details; high degree of professionalism and discretion Work Experience Essential: A minimum of five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a supply chain management and/or procurement role Desirable: Experience in higher education institution Language proficiency required Essential: Advanced proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English Desirable: Advanced proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Arabic Competencies Service Excellence- Professional Ethics and Integrity- Problem-solving- Time Management- Teamwork- Reporting line Manager of the Office of Procurement & Auxiliary Services
