Adjunct Clinical Faculty in Pediatric Dentistry - College of Dentistry

The College of Dentistry, Ajman University, has an opening for the position of Adjunct Specialist Instructor in Pediatric Dentistry starting Spring semester 2023-2024

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Graduate with a MSc. /Ph.D. from a reputable university 5 years\' experience with master degree in the field. Experience in dental clinical teaching Active MOH license if the duty is in the clinics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting the mission, goals, policies, and activities of the institution. Teaching and training of students and interns within the practical sessions (Clinics and labs) at the institution and in its affiliated hospitals and health facilities. Consulting or engaging in academic activities that enhance scholarship and professionalism within the institution. Adjunct clinical lecturers are expected to help in demonstrations and to provide the course instructor with support in their clinical training and academic activities. Organize and manage instructional resources, course outline, and community networks Ensure a respectful and culturally sensitive learning environment in all college-focused activities Motivate and inspire confidence in others (students and colleagues) to overcome limitations to personal growth and success Actively seek out methods, procedures, and resources to best achieve course and lesson objectives in the practical part of the courses Maintain relationships with students that are conducive to learning Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Familiarity with the \xe2\x80\x9cCredit Hour\xe2\x80\x9d academic system Ability to supervise student work. Ability to work effectively with diverse team members
