Job Title: HSE Engineer

Overview:

AtkinsR\xc3\xa9alis is seeking a highly experienced and qualified HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Engineer to join our team for a building construction project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE management, extensive experience in the construction industry, and a proven track record of ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines for the construction project.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Provide HSE training to site staff and contractors to promote awareness and best practices in safety.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to resolve HSE issues and implement preventive measures.

Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, including incident reports, inspections, and training documentation.

Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Participate in HSE meetings, risk assessments, and emergency response drills as required.

Keep abreast of industry trends, developments, and best practices in HSE management.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 20 years of experience in HSE management, with at least 5 years in Abu Dhabi.

Level 6 diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or equivalent.

OSHAD (Occupational Safety and Health Administration Department) Certification.

ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification.

Strong personality with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience in building construction projects is essential.

Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Must be currently residing in the UAE and available for face-to-face interviews.
