Job Title: Director - Facilities Management

Responsibilities:

As a key member of our client\'s team, you will play a crucial role in driving their success. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing the functional strategy in alignment with the company\'s vision, mission, and corporate objectives. Providing expert guidance and counsel to the leadership team on areas related to your assigned domain to drive the achievement of strategic goals. Leading and inspiring a high-performing team, setting individual objectives, managing performance, and fostering a culture of excellence. Driving talent development initiatives to ensure the availability of skilled professionals to meet business requirements. Acting as a role model, promoting organizational values and ethics, and cultivating a value-driven culture within the organization. Managing department budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with approved guidelines. Ensuring effective implementation of policies, procedures, and controls within your department to deliver a quality and cost-effective service. Overseeing the maintenance and administration of owned facilities, ensuring they are in excellent working condition and comply with health, safety, and quality standards. Leading the operation and maintenance of facilities equipment, both mechanical and electrical, in accordance with defined standards. Developing and implementing effective operational systems to monitor key property-related functions. Implementing a computerized maintenance management work order system for efficient facility maintenance. Monitoring infrastructure, equipment, and grounds to ensure maintenance is performed to defined quality standards. Directing in-house and outsourced maintenance projects, providing expertise for large-scale maintenance, renovations, and new construction. Ensuring prompt and cost-effective solutions for unexpected maintenance requirements, including efficient procurement policies and procedures. Providing knowledge transfer and training on statutory compliance relevant to local authority regulations and governance documents. Developing and implementing crisis response plans, safety procedures, and emergency protocols to ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environment guidelines. Leading the development and implementation of public relations plans to enhance the credibility and brand recognition of facilities. Coordinating marketing communication and community engagement strategies, events, and programs to maintain successful client relationships. Enhancing the customer journey and ensuring customer satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives. Identifying opportunities for process improvement, sustainability, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction. Overseeing the preparation of reports related to facilities management in line with quality standards. Maintaining a comprehensive computerized database for accurate reporting and managerial decision-making.
