Role Summary: We\'re seeking a Tumor Registrar to join our healthcare organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for cancer data management, ensuring accurate and complete records, casefinding, abstracting, and follow-up. They will work closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and support the delivery of quality cancer care. Responsibilities: - Review medical records and identify cancer cases for inclusion in the cancer registry
- Abstract and code relevant data into the cancer registry database
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of cancer registry data
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required
- Provide education to healthcare professionals and the community about the cancer registry and cancer-related topics Qualifications:
- Associate\'s degree in Health Information Management or related field
- 2+ years of experience in cancer registry or related healthcare field
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and cancer registry software Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate:
