Job Title: Android Developer : We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams. As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications that cater to a diverse range of devices. You\'ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric applications that meet business objectives and delight our users. Key Responsibilities: App Development: Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java or Kotlin, ensuring the highest quality and performance. UI/UX Implementation: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Code Optimization: Write efficient and well-structured code, and continuously optimize the application for performance, responsiveness, and scalability. Testing and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues and bugs through testing and debugging processes, ensuring the app works seamlessly on a variety of Android devices and versions. API Integration: Work closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and web services into the app. Version Control: Use version control systems like Git to manage and track changes in the source code. App Store Compliance: Ensure that the Android app complies with Google Play Store guidelines and successfully publish and update applications on the store. Documentation: Maintain code documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and release notes. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA testers, to deliver high-quality products on schedule. Staying Current: Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in app development. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages. Proven working experience in Android app development Have published at least one original Android app Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Material Design guidelines. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Experience with UI/UX design principles and responsive layout design. Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. A portfolio of Android apps developed or contributed to is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Android Jetpack components. Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Hilt. Previous experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration. Experience with cross-platform development frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
