Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai's premier lifestyle destination, is located on Jumeirah Beach Road just 15 km from the city centre and 25 km from Dubai International Airport. The 26-floor hotel has a curved design which represents the shape of a breaking wave and offers pristine private beaches with undisturbed views of the Arabian Gulf.

About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an assistant manager to join the Dhow & Anchor team at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The main responsibilities are:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the outlet including the selection, development, and performance management of colleagues, optimizing profits, and increasing sales. Procedures are met and value is added to the F & B objectives as detailed in the F& B Department Performance Plan Actively implement strategies to increase the market share of the outlet. Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to customer feedback and complaints ensuring JI & MJ procedures for CSI and Complaint Handling are followed Develop, maintain & actively use a database of customer details/ history and other strategies that assist in guest recognition Advise the F&B management of any improvements needed in relation to restaurants operation including updates to SOPs or addition/ deletion of SOPs Actively implement strategies to increase the market share for the Outlet Conduct performance evaluation of colleagues, training of colleagues, guidance, coaching and counselling of colleagues Ensure that colleagues are aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the department objectives detailed in the F&B Department Performance Plan Determine the necessary competence for colleagues and provide training or other actions to satisfy these needs Provide constant coaching, counselling, and discipline to colleagues to ensure their capability to meet the needs of the customer and the organization Ensure the management and competence level of selected colleagues is sufficient for the department to meet the needs of the organization and customer About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Hotel School Degree or diploma or equivalent Train the Trainer, Wine training, Upselling skills training etc. 2 years min. in a similar role in a minimum 5 * international 'pub' environment- A total of 4-5 years Food and Beverage Experience Experience working in a large, multi-cultural environment Fluency in a second language (other than English) Knowledge and keen interest in major sports.
