Senior Analyst, Marketing Data

Gather world-wide information and statistics, with focus on Asia and the Middle East, covering Energy infrastructure, Oil & Gas fundamentals and Marketing strategies energy oil & gas fundamentals, trade flow tracking and country/client profiles. Support "Variance Analyses" of the collected data and produce corporate reports in order to assess the inputs and provide management on value creation issues. Support actively, in the development of unified and accurate data management systems. Plan and execute the gathering, assembling and analyzing data from external and internal sources to generate defined market intelligence reports and trade-specific reports for developing recommendations as part of strategies deployed by Marketing Research division.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
Marketing Data Management . Create logical and comprehensive formats in the computer database, store, access and retrieve the data as a basis for analysis and presentation. The data includes worldwide energy statistics with focus on key regions including Asia, Middle East, Europe, North & South of America and Africa. . Monitor and gather data from external sources (market information vendors) and internal sources within suppliers to establish a strong database for Market Intelligence activities. . Utilize the internal data existing in the Marketing Systems including: SAP, BRM, CRM and Data Sharing to complement and validate data. Perform own research when necessary to complement / validate data from other sources. . Support the development of an executive management information system, review the information data sources and systems to develop insights and make recommendations for improvement. . Review the data analytics and align data from a broad range of marketing research reports and transactional data, resolve any incoherencies and develop own conclusions and recommendations. Prepare reports and presentations of the data, analysis, conclusions and recommendations through periodical reports, including graphs and tables, and covering historical, current and projected data. . Discuss and decipher complex data and information to the senior management team. . Prepare and submit data questionnaires to OPEC, JODI & UAE Government entities. Manage Marketing Dashboard related issues and update system. . Prepare trade flow reports and present to senior management team. Prepare and update Energy profiles: Client and Country-specific reports; optimizing on ADNOC Business relationship, Energy infrastructure and business opportunities.
Generic Accountabilities
Supervision . Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. . Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives. Budgets . Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives. . Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures . Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section's / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards. Performance Management . Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework. Innovation and Continuous Improvement . Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. . Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability . Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices. Reports . Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
Internal Communications & Working Relationships
. Regular work related contacts with VP, Department Manager and all staff and team members within the Function on matters related to the Marketing strategy and policies, operations, administration, people, HSE and integrity. . Contacts with senior management of all Functions in MS&T. . Regular contacts with concerned Group IT employees for systems and applications. . Regular contacts with other Directorates (like Finance, Upstream, Downstream, etc.). . Regular contact with counterparts within ADNOC Group Companies.
External Communications & Working Relationships
. Contacts with third party service provider, suppliers, consultants and industry experts. . Contacts with various governmental entities like Ministry of Energy & Industry. . Frequent contacts with ADNOC Shareholder and partners for discussion, exchange of information / expertise purposes.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, Business or equivalent.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
10 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry, at least 4 of which should have been in marketing, research & administration business at a supervisory level.

Physical Effort Minimal, involving sitting, walking, standing and computer operations. Work Environment Normal air-conditioned office environment.
