Job Title : Senior Engineer, Risk Based Inspection

JOB PURPOSE:
Plan and coordinate RBI assessment programs and liaise with the concerned engineers accordingly to properly identify deterioration mechanisms, corrosion circuits and establish proper investigation/inspection policies, plans and actions. Lead the Team involved in the implementation of the Risk Based Inspection & Fitness for Service. These include evaluation of the corrosion damage mechanisms and address the proper mitigation techniques. Plan and establish Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programs and strategies for fixed/static equipment in LNG Plant, OAG, IGD & new projects utilizing RBI methodology. Responsible and accountable for supporting and assisting MC&I in all RBI activities. Provide technical advice to MI&C to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of RBI program. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific Accountabilities
Review the RBI analysis, facilitate RBI review workshop and carry out audit on the RBI application. Develop an effective inspection program based on RBI analysis by focusing inspection resources on critical equipment and eliminating unnecessary inspection. Establish the corrosion loop for LNG Plant process and utility based on excellent knowledge of related degradation mechanisms. Ensure all related data within the RBI software is accurate, up-to-date and well managed in accordance with ADNOC LNG document management system. Liaise with Senior Engineer Inspection, Senior Engineer Corrosion & Metallurgy, Inspection Engineers and Inspectors (Painting & Insulation) on failure and damage of equipment and piping Analyze, review and evaluate RBI collected data and results. Gather and analyze corrosion, material and process data to ensure optimum protection risk is achieved on all assets. Determine Plant equipment & piping criticality on the basis of RBI analysis and formulate strategy for reducing downtime. Monitor and evaluate the technical effectiveness of RBI studies, support RBI plant teams during and after the project phase. Prepare high quality written progress and technical reports in agreed format and conducts presentations on the RBI results to Management. Provide specialist advice on corrosion control, plans in co-ordination with Senior Engineer Inspection, intervals to assure the integrity and continuous reliable operation of the plants. Perform the role and bear the responsibilities assigned to the position according to provisions of ADNOC LNG HSEMS manual. Contribute to the Design, Technical and Operational Integrity processes of AIRMS and exhibit appropriate level of knowledge and responsibility Perform other similar or related duties as assigned, such as preparing introductory courses on RBI and preparing periodical and annual report on risk levels and the effectiveness of different methods to control them on all Plants. Safeguard own Health and Safety, as well as that of the fellow employees, by paying attention to safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and complying with applicable HSE requirements. Take action to INTERVENE and STOP any un-safe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements, if witnessed, and report the incident - regardless of your position or that of the transgressor Generic Accountabilities

Supervision
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives. Budgets Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives. Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, Quality standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section's / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards. Performance Management Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices. Reports Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal
Has frequent contact up to Departmental Manager level in the Operations, Engineering and Maintenance Divisions related to RBI. Has occasional contact with Plant Operations Management. External Has occasional contact with representative of ADNOC group companies, engineering consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering. Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Experience 8 years of experience, including at least 5 experience in corrosion monitoring, integrity assessment and inspection processes in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry. 5 years' experience in RBI methodology and preferably with established methodology Knowledge & Skills Familiar with the materials, fabrication and inspection of static equipment and piping Able to understand and interpret the relevant International Codes, Standard and Practices. Good analytical and problem solving ability Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
