We are a Ship management company registered in the Dubai Free Zone, specializing in providing high-quality ship management and maintenance services. We manage various types of vessels, including bulk carriers and general cargo ships, offering comprehensive technical support and maintenance solutions, with particular expertise in handling heavy cargo operation and management. To meet our onshore management needs, we are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Technical Superintendent to join our team and contribute to delivering the best ship management services. Responsibilities: As a Technical Superintendent, you will have significant responsibilities, particularly in tracking and guiding vessels through mechanical and equipment maintenance to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of vessel machinery. Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to: (1\xef\xbc\x89Making proposals for maintenance and repair plans, including those required for class surveys and other inspections, to the Department Head and executing approved plans. (2) Collecting and analysing information related to pollution prevention and available equipment on the market, reporting to the Department Head for necessary applications. (3) Collecting and analysing available information concerning the implementation, revision, or amendments of Protocols, Rules, and Regulations, and timely reporting to the Department Head for application. (4) Checking and giving approval for regular supplies for ships. (5) Receiving, checking, analysing, and providing comments on related technical reports generated and implementing corrective actions. (6) Supplying vessels with currently available data and information received by the Technical Department on safety and environmental protection. (7) Supplying, checking, and controlling ship\'s consumable items such as lubricating oils, paints, spare parts, stores, medicines, etc. Including the necessary documentation for the above control work. (8) Periodically checking, selecting, and evaluating suppliers; this includes submitting observation reports on supplier performance to the Department Head for decision-making in supplier selection. (9) Developing an engineering visit plan for assigned vessels, with no more than one visit every six months. (10) Other jobs assigned by superiors. Requirements: (1) Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably in Marine Engineering Management, with at least two years of sea service as a Chief Engineer. (2) Minimum of 2 years of experience in maritime engineering management, with familiarity in various types of vessel machinery and equipment. (3) Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, along with loyalty to the company. (4) Profound knowledge of international maritime safety standards and regulations. (5) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Salary will discuss during the interview.
