Our property, Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens, offers its guests 210 rooms and suites, a co-working space with meeting rooms, a modern gym, rooftop pool and a number of happening restaurant outlets including a vibrant Pan-Asian restaurant.
About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Sales Manager - Corporate to join Zabeel House by Jumeirah the Greens. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for assisting in leading the SBU\'s segmented sales effort for the Corporate and MICE segment in a Boutique hotel category. Responsible for increasing preference, loyalty, and profitable share within assigned accounts, develop new corporate accounts and contribute to overall Sales Team success through the direct sales efforts of revenue generation and value creation and to execute the overall account strategy for assigned accounts to generate and maximize business.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving the set targets and maximum productivity. Managing Corporate accounts within the Sales & Marketing department and working with local and international travel agents/ tour operators, conference-meeting-incentive organizers/DMC for individual and group bookings. Responsible for 100% account penetration by establishing close relationships at all levels within the assigned accounts and new account development. Gains understanding of the location\'s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution. Develop corporate accounts and travel within the local area to drive business and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams. Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients. Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation telephone and direct mail in its market areas Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence). Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue Understands the overall market - competitors\' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them. Keep fully updated of all related sales data and plan sales activities keeping in mind cost/benefit, cost of sale and ROI analyses. Plan and conduct customer entertainments / outlet experiences across the SBUs within the cluster. Prepare corporate contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions. Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set. Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices with customers for transient and group business. Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, road shows, exhibitions, trade shows, etc. Maintain comprehensive awareness of all SBUs needs (including promotions, offers, USPs, IVTs), Corporate market trends, account market share and customer needs. About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential: Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related major. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in Dubai. Experience of the local market and a proven track record in the Corporate & MICE segment in the area. Hospitality sales experience within 5* hotel industry in the Middle East Effective communication, sales and presentation skills. Commercially (targets and results) focused. Organized, disciplined, dedicated and loyal. Proactive, friendly, pleasant, and easy to be around, draw energy from being with others. Business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills Segment knowledge + skills including principled negotiation, contracting and service level agreements. Produce accurate and timely reports to meet the needs of the department and Director of Sales & Marketing. Work under pressure to meet deadlines. Desirable: Master\'s degree in Hotel Management, Business administration, Marketing, or a related major. Experience with Data analysis and interpretation, and Microsoft packages. Management of RFP\'s and interpretation of STR reports. About the Benefits:
